Product FAQs
What is Informed Sport and why is it important?
Informed Sport is a global testing and supplement certification programme which provides assurance to athletes that products carrying the Informed Sport mark have been tested for prohibited substances and manufactured to high-quality standards. Informed Sport tests every single batch of a product before it's released to market. After certification, we continually blind test to further ensure the integrity and the safety of the product.
Research has shown that some supplement products may be contaminated with low levels of steroids, stimulants or other substances which are prohibited by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and other sporting bodies. Informed Sport aims to work closely with supplement manufacturers and suppliers by providing high-quality analytical testing and certified supplements to minimize the incidence of product contamination and banned substances finding their way into sport.

What is NSF certification and why is it important?
NSF’s Certified for Sport® program meets the growing demands of athletes, coaches and all those concerned about banned substances in dietary supplements, functional foods, and cosmetics/ personal care products. We verify that these products do not contain unsafe levels of contaminants, prohibited substances or masking agents, and that what is on the label matches what is in the product. By doing so, the Certified for Sport® certification program provides consumers with safer choices when selecting dietary supplements, functional foods, and cosmetics/ personal care products.
The Certified for Sport® certification is the only independent third-party certification program recognized by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, and the Canadian Football League. Certified for Sport® is also recommended by the NFL, NBA, PGA, LPGA, CCES, CPSDA, iNADO, Ironman, NASCAR, Taylor Hooton Foundation, and many other organizations seeking to mitigate the risks of contaminated dietary supplements.

What are therapeutic doses and why are they important for Professional Athletes?
Professional athletes require a more concentrated dosage of key nutrients, so therapeutic doses refer to the specific amount of a treatment that is prescribed by a professional to treat a particular condition or symptom. For professional athletes, therapeutic doses are crucial because they ensure that the athlete receives the intended therapeutic benefit of the vitamins and minerals, while minimizing the risk of adverse effects or violating anti-doping regulations.
Professional athletes often undergo intense physical training and competition, which can lead to injuries, pain, inflammation, or other medical issues. In such cases, they may require medications or treatments to manage their conditions and support their recovery.
Using supplements at therapeutic doses helps professional athletes improve:
Energy & cognition
Stress management
Muscle & joint recovery
Digestion & immunity support
Overall, therapeutic doses play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and performance of professional athletes by providing targeted medical interventions that address specific needs without compromising integrity or safety.
